“Portrait of My Mother-in-Law with Subsequent Touch-Ups” is a translation of “Retrato de mi suegra con retoques consecutivos,” a short story by Leningrad-born Cuban writer Anna Lidia Vega Serova from the collection Estirpe de papel.
